v0.0.6 is LIVE! Woo


Hey hey guys, bug update here! Lots of new things going on that I'm really excited for you all to see! Levels are now a LOT more interesting, as well as various doodads having wayyy more interaction to them. Lots of UI adjustments, and even the screen resolution. If you haven't played in a while, you'll definitely want to check it out.


WHATS NEW

  • Levels are now more varied and less empty. A lot more of a natural look as well. Getting from one map to the next now more challenging
  • Removed "jumping" mechanic
  • Removed "parrying" mechanic
  • Added new "knock back" ability
  • Most set pieces you find around the game are now destructable!
  • NEW TITLE SCREEN
  • Adjusted game resolution
  • Ponds now spawn randomly on maps
  • Adjusted the layout of caves, as well as decreased the amount of time it takes to generate them
  • Adjusted the appearance of level up screen
  • Adjusted various UI text
  • Kerchiefs and hats are no longer unlockable items
  • Removed "fade in" mechanic for building lighting
  • Adjusted the various UI screens slightly for size
  • Adjusting movement/fighting speed of enemies
  • Town spawn rate increased
  • Item details display automatically in the inventory
  • Added some new effects
  • Trees and cactus are now more spread out


  • BUG FIXES
  • Fixed a bug where max HP would get out of control
  • Fixed a bug with dropping matches
  • Enemies should spawn in walls a lot less
  • Fixed a bug where a tree sprite was crashing the game
  • No longer get XP for enemies you didn't hit
  • Adjusted bullet collision against walls
  • You can no longer pick up items when inventory is full
  • Towns will now spawn with the proper dirt color
  • Forts should no longer be broken
  • Knife attack sprite should be correct size
  • leveling up should no longer persist each playthrough
  • Fixed a few typos
