Welcome.. to version 0.9!





Well hello internet :). Here we are, just a bit over halfway through the year. Where am I? Where is the game? Well right now it just got updated to VERSION 0.9!!!! What does this mean? It means that the mechanics and content I intended to be in the game is now 100% in. Where am I going from  here? Well the original intention was to show Duster at various conventions to improve gameplay, smooth out rough edges, and add a few last minute items that made sense based on feedback. Right now conventions are not happening, so it's left to be seen how I handle it. For the time being, my intention is still to spend the next few months polishing the game.


It is also worth noting that in the last update or so I disabled new users from getting into the beta. These updates are only available for users who got into the beta before it was closed.


WHATS NEW

  • There are some new encounters that happen only after you pass the halfway mark of the game.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed bug where on level up screen where the hand shows up too early
  • Fixed bug where some sounds were too loud
  • Fixed bug where if you click a  bunch after accepting the "explore area" prompt you can trigger the run/walk menu
  • Fixed bug with drinking water from a barrel
  • Fixed bug where shadow sprites are all when you're drunk
  • Fixed bug where intro started with a rock blocking the path to the door
  • Fixed bug where one of the  masculine hairs didn't animate when crouching
  • Fixed bug where the scrolling ground transition on the map is broken if you skip a map
  • Fixed bug where there is a terrible hitch on landing on starting new zone
  • Fixed bug where environmental music wasn't playing at night
  • Fixed bug where ending cinematic ran janky
  • Fixed bug where you'd fade in from black but level loaded after
  • Fixed bug where a masculine hair didn't animate while dazed
