Whew, lots of big updates to this build! So excited to be bringing it to you guys! I have a lot of big milestones to reach in the next six months, and so my first action was to update the way everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is generated to be more extendable for the future. The byproduct of this was that  a lot of nice looking things got added, and a slew of generation bugs got removed. yay!


WHATS NEW

  • GRAPHICAL UPDATE - Towns and forts now look vastly improved and exciting! There are also slight changes to empty/generic areas as well
  • New indoor locations! Forts are now multi-roomed/tiered buildings. Currently, any keys needed drop generically at the entry room, but will later be held by enemies or in chests
  • New ghost town locations
  • Equipment bonuses! All clothing items at creation  CAN have a stat bonus as well, this will later extend to items you find in game world that will persist throughout every game play
  • Adjusted explosions slightly
  • bullets look cooler now
  • You can now check the INFO of an item to know more about it and its uses
  • Updated some text throughout the game
  • Outlined UI elements, and added "start" button UI bit
  • Adjusted the amount of time it takes to go from walking to running
  • Bullets casings drop off you when you shoot
  • corpse loot now directly goes to inventory
  • Added little random bones around
  • Added little birds that eat at bones
  • Added chickens in town
  • Birds now lose feathers when shot
  • If you press a button while the tombstone is writing, it'll autocomplete
  • What items combine and Random locations in the world are now editable in the game files
  • Added a "cast" and "reel" text for fishing rod
  • Added a countdown timer to status conditions
  • Reduced the HP lost to poison or bleeding
  • Adjusted the way the artwork looks/works on the overworld map
  • thirst and hunger now show up as a status condition
  • Adjusted the duster color

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a bug where a blank UI element will pop up after killing a wanted bandit
  • Fixed several bugs related to killing Wanted bandits
  • Fixed a bug where things will spawn at exits making it impossible to pass
  • Fixed a bug where enemies would spawn in walls
  • Fixed a bug where beds or dressers or whatever would regularly spawn right at a door
  • Fixed SEVERAL bugs in world generation placement
  • Fixed a freeze when loading a map
  • Fixed a bug in the things the bird says when you start a new game
  • Fixed a bug where you'd spawn in water on some maps
